Synopsis

An imaginary geographical line, known as the 45th parallel, is the halfway point between the equally imaginary line of the equator and the North Pole. The Haskell Library and Opera House was built on this line, on the border between the United States and Canada. Within this ambivalent space, a precise monologue evokes complex reflections on legality, jurisprudence, as well as permeable and impermeable borders. (M.M.)
