Synopsis
Fictional letters that tell of impossible love. Through words as intense as they are fleeting, we meet L., a film student who guides us through fragmented images and events in contemporary India. In her debut feature film, the director weaves a tapestry of times and struggles from the perspective of youth, between tradition and revolutionary impulse in a society in turmoil. From a myriad of materials and grainy texture, this immersive essay film reveals how cinema and education can also become acts of freedom. (C. I.)
