Synopsis
A document about Alan do Rap, a transgressive artist from the musical culture stemming from the outskirts of the city of Salvador, in his struggle to survive and create. The film spans over ten years of the relationship between the film’s directors and their character, witnessing the inherent strength in the act of producing audiovisual archives, as well as the complex relationship between subjects and objects in documentary filmmaking, searching for a fair distance. A unique and individual story and all the same a portrait of a country and its lack of opportunities. (E. V.)
