How to give form to an evanescent conscience? If the cinematographic apparatus itself carries anthropocentric elements – the raccord of images mimics a wanton conscious body to the world – “Anamnesis” faces a particular challenge in its film-essay structure: how to establish a set of images to translate the threshold of memory loss, the undoing of the self, of aphasia as the limit of language. *(E.B)
Tiago Lipka is a Film and Video student (Unespar) and has been working since 2009 as a screenwriter and director. "Anamnese" is his third documentary film as a director. He was one of the screenwriters for the series “Contracapa” created by Rafael Waltrick, and has participated in prominent script laboratories, such as Novas Histórias-SESC SP and the Fundação Carolina Course in Madrid. He currently has two feature-length scripts in pre-production, “Entrelinhas” by director Guto Pasko and “Sereis uma Só Carne” by director Andréia Kaláboa.
