Bia returns home, only something comes along with her that will forever change this house. Bia’s feeling of displacement from everyday reality accompanies her everywhere, and her encounter with Jean will only seem as tangible as the games, text messages, or Instagram posts they both interact with. As such, the crew of the production company O Quadro continues their investigation into how to create a youthful cinema that films its characters at eye level, with sincerity and clear of condescension or judgment. *(E.V)
Wellington Sari is a director, screenwriter, film critic, curator, and researcher. A founding member of the production company O Quadro, based in Curitiba, he has directed, among other works, the short films "Romance Edmottês", "Monique Ao Sol", "Surf, Surf", and "Coração Azul". His films express an interest in people, trees, sports, music, and color. "Bia Mais Um" is his first feature film as a director, after having scripted "Bye Bye Jaqueline", a feature film commercially released in 2017.
