A young woman turns 18 as the pandemic ravages our world and confines us to isolation in our homes. Stemming from the limitations of this reality, but also from an attempt to overcome it through imagination, dreams, and nightmares, Bonello proposes a hybrid audiovisual journey using the most varied formats and languages, from animation to Tik-Tok videos. Behind this cinematic frenzy in response to a global crisis lies a middle-aged father’s desire to (re)connect with his daughter amid an ever-increasing generational gap. (E. V.)
