On the eve of the new millennium, a time characterized by heightened fear concerning the potentially endless possibilities of biotechnology, the director dives into futuristic science fiction and the inseparable dimension between virtual and lived experiences. Amidst mutating objects and the allure of new bodily dimensions, the very notion of reality is contested, in which transcendence becomes the ultimate goal. (C.I.)
