Synopsis
“Heteronormativity is Stockholm Syndrome” is one of the phrases in this film upon which, from a collage of multiple languages, vibrant colors, visual metaphors, and performativity, the director reflects on gender and sexuality. An experimental documentary essay, a posthumous tribute in which the author draws inspiration from herself and her grandmother, a woman who since childhood was forced to stay at home wading through domestic chores while the men of the family went out to explore the world.
