Synopsis

At the height of a pandemic, which has taken the lives of thousands of people, two cemetery workers reflect on the relationship between life and death in their different religions. In this observational documentary that spans both the terreiro temple and the evangelical cult, these two men dialogue about their respective faiths and how it keeps them firmly focused in their designated mission to assist in the process of passage. Carlos Henrique de Oliveira and Luis Ansorena Hervés are two documentary filmmakers from Brazil and Spain. Journalists by training, they have specialized in non-fiction films in recent years. Together they founded the documentary label Monkey Fingers.
