Synopsis
In an apparent retreat from the Brazilian reality of the 1970s, affluent upper-class men meet to embody women in fantasies of luxury and exuberance. But the House of Izabel hides much more than the secret whims and desires of its guests. Featuring notable figures from Paraná’s art scene, the most recent collaboration between the duo Gil Baroni and Luiz Bertazzo (from “Alice Júnior”) envelops us in a plot of growing suspense and tension, which confronts Brazil’s dictatorial past through a sharp queer gaze.
