Synopsis
This film offers a glimpse into the story of Lúcio and his family, who live in a seaside village and endure the daily psychological violence of their father, Jorge. Lucio loves mermaids and on his birthday his mother surprises him, but the small joys are hastily curtailed by the man who refuses to accept things as they are. (M.M.)

Estevan de la Fuente is a Brazilian screenwriter and filmmaker, BA in Cinema and Audiovisual from the State University of Paraná (FAP/UNESPAR). His filmography focuses entirely on the LGBTQIAP+ universe. He directed the short films "¿Y La Polla?" (2015), and "Salada Mista" (2016); and in partnership with Débora Zanatta, he directed the short films "Lovedoll" (2015); "Ocorridos do Dia 13" (2016), and "Primavera de Fernanda" (2018), which have won 17 awards and 6 honorable mentions in 70 festival selections.
