The student film “Mydriasis” stars two beings who live in an isolated and artificial world. Together, they experience unusual interactions, which kindle curiosities and awaken a confined chaos to the plastic universe. Between stop-motion and live-action, a dreamlike narrative emerges built from this mixture, alluding to the experimental classic film Neighbors (1952), by Norman McLaren. (G.R.)
