Joana and Nina’s relationship goes beyond the conventions of affection as they experience an intense period of discoveries and reflections about their desires and the changes in their bodies. There is mystery in how their interaction are filmed, which borders between extremely intimate friendship and courtship. The film accompanies Joana in her subjectivity and uncertainty, as she observes women and observes herself, in view of the pulsating curiosity about her gender, her sexuality, and the judgment of others.
