Synopsis
Didar (Yerdos Kanayev) lives torn between his creative and existential devotion to the craft of a poet and the need to earn a living through bureaucratic work, when not downright undignified activities from other types of editing and writing. In the midst of these dilemmas and their effects on his personal life, the film interlaces past and present by incorporating the narrative of a historic Kazakh poet, through the use of precise humor and dry language, characteristic of this important director still largely unknown in Brazil.
