Mother and son are at home while waiting for father to arrive. Amid waiting, change, and fear, leaving home is not an option. The short film directed by Adriel Nizer and Nando Sturmer, both from Paraná, sets the global horror of the pandemic experience lived since March 2020. In an attempt to escape dread, the idea of losing a loved one can become a real horror movie. (K. M.)
Adriel Nizer, Nando Sturmer
Adriel Nizer and Nando Sturmer are screenwriters and directors with an education background in Cinema from the Faculty of Arts of Paraná. Adriel wrote the renowned "Alice Júnior" (2019), selected at the Berlin Film Festival and currently on Netflix, and "O Amor de Catarina" (2013). He wrote and directed the short films "Os Herdeiros" (2018) and "Camila, Agora" (2013). Nando worked as screenwriter and director for the miniseries "Rarefeito", shown on TV Cultura between 2017 and 2018, in addition to the short films "Dias de Gabi" (2020) and "Gabriele" (2020).
