Synopsis
What limits must a female body evoke every day? In Rafameia, directors Mariah Teixeira and Nanda Felix create settings in which this body exists in constant tension. Carmem, after receiving a washing machine delivery man at home and experiencing an uncomfortable situation, begins to understand the limits between her body, as well as the bodies of other women and the city from a new angle. Mariah Teixeira, Nanda Félix
Mariah Teixeira is an actress, director, producer. She has been working in Brazilian cinema for 15 years, having directed features and short films as well as series and telefilms. She twice won the award for best actress at the Brasília Festival. In theater she joined groups such as CPT, Oficina, and Nós do Morro. Nanda Félix is an actress, director and writer. With an extensive career in theater as an actress and director, Rafameia is her first screenplay and film direction. She published her book, Um País no Meio do Mar through the publishing house 7 Letras.
