Synopsis
Two beings from a solar forest share magical knowledge. The apprentice patiently works on techniques that move the world around, helping preserve the light and cycles of nature. Another being, from a dry and dark forest, notices the duo’s exploits and tries to distract them from the process. A beautiful stop-motion animation which invites us to contemplate our reencounter with balance, the consequences of our decisions, and the goodness in our subtle attitudes with the other. (G.R.)

Ainslie Henderson
Ainslie Henderson is a writer, director and animator who, in 2012 was awarded a BAFTA for co-writing "The Making of Longbird". Ainslie's following short films "I Am Tom Moody" and "Monkey Love Experiments" were both BAFTA nominated, and have won over 60 international festival awards, including Best British short at Encounters, and the Jury crystal at Annecy.
