Venezuela increasingly seems to occupy the place of a mirror or mirage in the world’s imagination: each person sees in it whatever they wish to project, through a gesture that reflects more about themselves than the actual country. Fully aware that it cannot change this scenario, let alone explain or condense such a complex situation, the film strays away from generalizations. Through the work, we experience some possible Venezuelas as we follow a series of characters that roam the country’s borders and highways, each living a small part of this collective life that seems to escape comprehension. *(E.V)
