Synopsis
Jorge (Daniel Ortiz) is the only young person of his generation who stayed behind to live and work on his family’s farm, in an isolated community in the Colombian forest. As several of his friends and his former highschool sweetheart return from the big city for the annual local festivities, he confronts his past as well as his decisions about the present and future. A portrait of the dilemmas of a generation in search of perspective. (E. V.)

Juan Sebastian Mesa
Audiovisual Communicator from the University of Antioquia, graduated in script and contemporary narrative. His first feature film "Los Nadie" (2017) won the audience award at the Settimana Internazionale della Critica, Venice. His short film "Tierra Mojada" has been part of the competition in Venice, Sundance and Clermont Ferrand. His second film feature "The Rust" was part of San Sebastián Film Festival's New Directors competition in 2021.
