Synopsis
In The Silence of the River, we find the dream world of a 9-year-old boy, who lives in a houseboat on the Amazon River and yearns to be a storyteller. For him, his father’s soul is confused, as he sleeps during the day and lives during the night when he heads out to fish. In this fabulation, the mysteries of dreams merge with everyday experiences. One night, the son walks out looking for his father. (K. M)
