Synopsis
Dayane leaves unexpectedly. Her mother, Marluce (Luciana Souza), her sister Mariana (Pipa), and her fiance Antônio (David Santos) stay behind. Directors Amanda Pontes and Michelline Helena delicately introduce characters who strive to move on with their lives and deal with the absence of a loved one. Between an inexorable pursuit, quiet resignation, and silent denial, lies this touching family drama from Ceará. (G.B.)

Amanda Pontes holds a BA from the Audiovisual School of Fortaleza - Vila das Artes. She is a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, and editor. Michelline Helena holds a BA in Drama and Cinema from the Instituto Dragão do Mar. She has been working with filmmaking for over 15 years as a screenwriter, director, producer, and assistant director. Together, they directed the short film "Do Que Se Faz de Conta" (2016), the documentary "Topofilia" (2017), and the short film "Oceano" (2018). "When I Find Myself" is the duo 's first feature.
