MINISTÉRIO DA CIDADANIA, GOVERNO DO PARANÁ E COPEL presents

Synopsis

In this documentary by Matias Dala Stella, the Pindoty village of the Mbya-Guarani ethnic group resists to preserve its cultural structures in spite of the white world. To remember is to fortify. To fortify is to build mechanisms for conserving traditional knowledge in a context where it is increasingly questioned and erased. The survival of the indigenous (and non-indigenous) population permeates such traditional knowledge and it is through the children that they glimpse the future.
