MINISTÉRIO DA CIDADANIA, GOVERNO DO PARANÁ E COPEL presents

Synopsis

A transformative film for Camila was French-Armenian filmmaker Massadian’s debut feature, ‘Nana’ (2011), a tender yet unsentimental docufiction about a four-year-old girl’s life in the French countryside. Camila says that, “For me, it was an inspiration to find another way of filming, outside of studio confines, a kind of sensitive work attentive to everyday acts of resistance”. The short ‘Ninouche’ offers a variation on ‘Nana’, with that film's indelible actresses Kelyna Lecomte and Marie Delmas also appearing here as daughter and mother. ‘Ninouche’ will screen with ‘Dreams of Ice’.
