Agüero is a renowned Chilean documentarian and essay filmmaker who has also made some instigating films that navigate closer to fiction, including this imaginative work about Chilean efforts to bring an enormous ice sculpture to Seville’s 1992 World Fair. Camila says about her friend and ‘Transfrontera’ collaborator’s film that “Dreams of Ice is one of Ignacio’s most nomadic and transfictional films. It tracks a journey taken from Punta Arenas to Spain, a kind of traveling linked to our work together, which always deals with journeys and encounters”. ‘Dreams of Ice’ will screen with ‘Ninouche’.
