Postponement ?

Taking into account the measures taken and prescribed by authorities, in Brazil and worldwide, for the control and constraint of the new coronavirus (and it’s associated disease, COVID-19), Olhar de Cinema – Curitiba International Film Festival announces the postponement of its 9th edition, previously scheduled to take place from June 3rd to 11th, in the capital of the State of Paraná, Brazil.

Although we’re looking forward for the world situation to be under control by then, we understand we must work together in the necessary measures to ease its consequences. Everyone’s well-being and health is our top priority. We hope we’re able to stage the 2020’s edition of the Festival with safety and at peace. Therefore, we’ll keep our eyes open to the unfoldings of the situation so we can schedule a new date as soon as possible.

Every film’s power, every full screening, every debate, moves us ahead, to overcome this delicate times.
